Christmas Books Giveaway Hop (INT)

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!

...well, almost. It's at least Christmas season, which is my absolute favorite time of the year. There is so much I want to do this month, that I'll never be able to fit it all in. But I'll definitely try. But back to the point: what better way to kick off the season, than with a giveaway?

Welcome to the Christmas Books Giveaway Hop!

This hop is hosted by I Am a Reader, Not A Writer and Laurie Here, and features over 100 blogs! That's a LOT of opportunities to win something. Good luck!

Enter below to win:
A copy of Nutcracker by E.T.A. Hoffman (Illustrated by Maurice Sendak)
A Christmas joy prize package

This is the original translation of Nutcracker, and not the watered-down versions that are required for ballet performances (although I LOVE the ballet performances). It's also illustrated beautifully! As for the prize package...I haven't put it together yet, so I don't have a photo to show for it. But it's Christmas-ey and joyous, and you'll love it! :) Merry Christmas!

Rules:
OPEN INTERNATIONALLY.
Must be 13 or older to enter.
Contest runs Dec. 1-7.
Winner will have 48 hours to respond after being contacted.

  10. My absolute favorite Christmas memory is using my 4 little brothers as an alarm in my parents room every Christmas morning. We'd wake up around 5 am. Mom and dad would pretend to be sleeping so we'd have to "wake them up". My brothers and I would march into their room, jump on their bed, and yell until the vowed they'd get up in less than 5 minutes. I miss those days!!

  13. This one time, when I was like 5 or 6, my parents pretended Santa had been in our house, it was awesome because they left a cup of milk out and a plate of cookies, some half eaten, and there was a new present under the tree! ^^

  22. When I was a little girl, my parents had no money because my father was an intern. We didn't have a car so we had to save change for him to ride a bus and make transfers for him to get to the hospital. My mother made chocolate fudge on Christmas Eve and the next morning, my father had made a doll bed for my doll and blocks for me to build things. You don't have to have money to give people presents.

  26. when I was little we had lots of relatives to see - that was always fun. Now the older generation is gone and so many are to far away to get together every year - so this year will be small - just four of us.

  33. I have SO many good Christmas memories! One of my favorites is that every year when I was little (like around 5-9) my siblings and I would try to act out the entire Nutcracker story for my extended family on Christmas Eve. We were absolutely awful and I'm sure it was quite torturous to watch but we tried so hard and we loved it. We even had costumes. XD

  39. My favorite Christmas memory is when I was about 6 or 7. My grandparents let me and my sisters sleep outside in their small motor home. And as we were laying there, giggling and talking about what we hoped Santa would bring, we heard the sound of sleighbells outside. We were convinced it was Santa's reindeer and all closed our eyes tight and pretended to be asleep. It was just a magical Christmas night.

Thanks for the giveaway and blog stop.

  49. It would probably be when my two oldest were 4 and 2. They came out Christmas morning and were in complete awe and full of squeels for what Santa brought. It completely made my Christmas to watch them! It seems there is only a little stage when they are young that they are like that. :)
