Hypothetical Money To Burn

It's Christmas season and since I haven't been reading books these past three weeks as quickly as I usually do (read: I have no review to post today), I've been trying to think of Christmas-themed posts that are different from what has already been done by other bloggers.

I basically came up with nothing, and was all ready to type up some sort of list of books that make perfect presents, when it hit me: why don't YOU tell ME what you want to buy? I'm talking about a hypothetical Christmas shopping spree, in which I give each of you $150 to spend on books and other things...hypothetically, of course. (Don't try to understand why my brain leads me where it does...it is incomprehensible.)

Here is your challenge--should you choose to accept:
  • Take your hypothetical $150, and your wish list, and head on over to the Books section at Amazon (affiliate link). Use Amazon, so we're all talking the same price points.
  • Come back here and tell me what you would buy in the comments. Leave a list, links, or pictures--whatever you want.
  • You are free to "buy" anything, even if it isn't a book. The only rule is that you have to "spend" it all. No hypothetical saving!

Here is what I would hypothetically get:
(The following are affiliate links.)

Total: $150.50

P.S. If they had come out with a box set of the complete Vampire Academy series already, this list would be completely different. ;)

So, what would you get?
Remember: this is for YOU! Buy what you want, but don't get too caught up in the details. This is just for fun, so be frivolous, and be greedy!

*Just to be safe: I am NOT actually giving anyone money. This is just for fun!
*This post is not sponsored or endorsed by Amazon, in any way. They just happen to have pretty much everything for sale...in one spot. :)

  1. Ooooo what a fun idea!

I would probably spend mine on acquiring vintage book copies.

  4. I don't think I can do this because I will just want all of the things... not hypothetically! ;) I admit I've been dying for the complete Buffy set for a long time. I haven't gotten it because it's still on Netflix but one day...

  5. Stephanie: Lol, yeah I had a hard time not listing everything I came across. Hope you get that Buffy set one day! :)

Thanks for commenting! I read each and every one, and reply as soon as I can :)

Please note: The Reading Fever is an award-free zone. I am very flattered, but comments are all the thanks I need.
