The Reading Fever's Ghost Hunter Giveaway (INT)

Dear readers,
I have a problem...a ghost problem. And I need your help!

You see, things have been changing on this blog lately; the header got all dusty and old-looking, and the background looks dirty. I tried to fix them, but they keep changing back. I am finding things in odd places, and my links don't lead to the right pages. And then when I woke up this morning, the blog was covered in cobwebs, and I found this in my inbox:

Here is where you come in. I know he said not to try anything silly, but I'm pretty sure that if I get enough people to find him and give him trouble, we can drive him crazy...and maybe he'll want to leave.

So: I need you to find him. He says: "To speak to me, you must first find the right words, then click and drag."
I don't know what that means, but I'm sure you can figure it out. He's somewhere on this blog, and I want him gone!

As an incentive to help me, anyone who finds Adrian and gives him trouble will be entered to win their choice of TWO of these books. But be sure to read all of the rules to see what you need to enter!

A second winner will also be chosen receive this swag pack:
2 Isle of Night bookmarks
1 Jack Samsonite bookmarks (Signed)
1 Paranormalcy bookmark
1 Possession bookmark
1 A Touch Mortal bookmark (Signed)
1 A Touch Mortal bookplate (Signed)
2 Wings series temporary tattoos
1 Body Finder pin
1 Crossed pin

Open to wherever The Book Depository Ships.
(Make sure your country is on this list.)

You must be 13 or older to enter.
You do NOT have to be a follower to enter, but it is much appreciated!
When you enter the giveaway, type the words Adrian spoke to you in the designated spot, so that I know you really found him.
I don't think he always says the same words (he seems pretty spontaneous), and he probably won't be in the same spot (I hear him moving around sometimes) so don't cheat!
Extra entries if you tweet with a link to this post. I need all the ghost hunters I can get!
Use the hashtag: #TRFGhostHunting

This giveaway ends 11:59pm MST on October 31st, 2011.
Winner will have 48 hours to respond.

He's somewhere on this blog. Find him and let's drive him out. I just know we can do this!
Click through to enter via Rafflecopter.

(OOC: If less than 20 people have found him after one week, I'll post a big clue.)

  8. My most favorite Halloween contest by far was the year my mom & I made a Pipi Longstocking costume from an old apron. We trussed up my hair in braided pigtails with wire hanger parts inside to make them stick out and up like Pipi! I still have the pictures. It was a great Halloween!

  10. Thanks for the giveaway! This was super cute and fun. =)

Hmmmm my favourite Halloween costume, eh? That's a tough one because I grew up with a Mom who sews and she always made me the coolest costumes. I was a lion, a cheerleader, a jester, an "old fashioned girl" (Little House on the Prairie-ish) ... so many more. I seriously can't pick a fave! Maybe a fun one is in gr. 10 when my friend and I dressed as Care Bears, haha. My mom made us ears on headbands and we had pink flannel pants and then a white t-shirt with a Care bear symbol on it.

  13. hahaha, awesome ghost hunt! My fav costume is probably the Arwen costume I made a few years ago. It's the blue and red velvet dress she's wearing in the second movie while reading a book in Rivendale.

    Happy Halloween!

  15. We don't really celebrate Halloween much in Australia where I grew up, but one year I went as a witch and I wore all these layers of fishnets and lace and black chiffon, and a long black skirt and a cape. I had lace gloves, a wand, a broom, and a cat that meowed when you patted it. And the pointed hat! I looked awesome.

  32. This is such an adorable and fun giveaway! Really creative, I love it!

When I was a kid, my parents usually made my brother's and my costumes out of sweatsuits and random other things. I was the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz once and my brother was the Tin Man. Another year he was Paul Bunyan and I went as Babe, his Big Blue Ox. XD

  33. Not entering the giveaway because I have no clue at all where the ghost is! I checked everywhere I thought he could be and couldn't find him. :(

But I wanted to answer the question! My favorite Halloween costume was last year's. I went as a make-shirt vampire. I had on a shirt that said 'Got Blood?' and a sweater that said 'I love Vampires'. I didn't even have fangs. It was funny seeing people's reactions. :D
