Waiting On Wednesday: Lola and the Boy Next Door

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. Visit Breaking The Spine to see more entries!

This week, I am eagerly waiting on:

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
Publisher: Dutton
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Young Adult
Publication Date: 9.29.2011
Budding designer Lola Nolan doesn’t believe in fashion . . . she believes in costume. The more expressive the outfit -- more sparkly, more fun, more wild -- the better. But even though Lola’s style is outrageous, she’s a devoted daughter and friend with some big plans for the future. And everything is pretty perfect (right down to her hot rocker boyfriend) until the dreaded Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket, return to the neighborhood.

When Cricket -- a gifted inventor -- steps out from his twin sister’s shadow and back into Lola’s life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.

Okay, so we've ALL read Anna and the French Kiss

We ALL know know how talented Stephanie Perkins is with a love story.

That's the exact reason I am excited for Lola and the Boy Next Door

Allow me to be the next to add my token Lola WOW post to the many done before. :)

What are you waiting on?

  19. I don't imagine there are many people who aren't waiting on this book. My only concern is that Cricket won't live up to the awesomeness that was St. Clair. I mean, really--how can you top a half French guy with an English accent? Is it even possible?
