Waiting on Wednesday: Fateful

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. Visit Breaking The Spine to see more entries!

This week, I am eagerly waiting on:

Fateful by Claudia Gray
Publisher: Harper Teen
Genre: Paranormal Romance, Young Adult
Publication Date: 09.13.2011
In Fateful, eighteen-year-old maid Tess Davies is determined to escape the wealthy, overbearing family she works for. Once the ship they’re sailing on reaches the United States, she’ll strike out on her own. Then she meets Alec, a handsome first-class passenger who captivates her instantly. But Alec has secrets....

Soon Tess will learn just how dark Alec’s past truly is. The danger they face is no ordinary enemy: werewolves are real and they’re stalking him—and now Tess, too. Her growing love for Alec will put Tess in mortal peril, and fate will do the same before their journey on the Titanic is over.

Featuring the opulent backdrop of the Titanic, Fateful’s publication is poised to coincide with the 100-year anniversary of the ship’s doomed maiden voyage. It is sure to be a hit among Titanic buffs and fans of paranormal romance alike.

I love werewolves. LOVE THEM! They are (usually) quick to anger, like to be in control, and have lots of attitude...which, of course, makes them so hot! So lets take werewolves and add them to, say, The Titanic

Now *that's* something I want to read about.

Luckily Claudia Gray has me covered. I totally need to read this book!

What are you waiting on?

Psst! While you're here, don't forget to enter my giveaway. You could win a finished copy of The Map of Time by Felix J. Palma!

  12. This one is definitely on my to-read list :D. Claudia Gray is a brilliant writer and I loved her Evernight series! I'm not actually that great a fan of werewolves, but there are some series with them that have really stood out to me. And I bet this stand-alone will be an awesome addition as well :).

  14. I got into the Evernight series and then never read the 4th book because I was so mad at what happened to Bianca. Besides that I enjoyed all three of the books I read immensely so I will look into this one too. Maybe I'll even look up the 4th book to see if I can handle what actually happens to her after the fact. Maybe I gave up on her too soon?
