Character Dress up: The Sisters Red

I haven't done this in a long time, but every once in a while I like to sneak onto Polyvore and play dress up with characters from the books I read. In fact, it has been so long since I've done this (a year, at least) that it took this post from Simon YA's blog, to remind me how fun it is! Anyway, I thought I would share them. I might start to do this more often, since it is so fun to put these together! :)

The characters I chose are Scarlett and Rosie, from Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce.  It isn't descriptive about clothing, so this is purely based on what I see of the characters' personalities.

Scarlett is the tough older sister; the one who protects Rosie; the one who fights werewolves like she was born for it, because she can't stand the thought of them hurting another family like they hurt her family. She's got scars all over her body, including part of her face, which she hides by covering them with long sleeves and such. She wears an eye patch because her first encounter with a werewolf resulted in her losing her right eye...and giving her the first of her scars.
She's a little self-conscious about her eye and scars, but she would never admit it. She wears a red cloak when she's hunting, because it is the color of blood and sex, and attracts werewolves like crazy. Her weapon of choice is a hatchet.

I think of her as the black-haired, less-stylish, scarred, werewolf-hunting, mortal, version of Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Rosie is the sweet little sister who is wicked deadly with a knife. She wants to be more than just a hunter, but she can't justify leaving Scarlett to hunt alone while she lives the life she really wants. She is beautiful, and uses her beauty to attract werewolves, though it is obvious she doesn't *feel* hunt, like Scarlett.

She is not hugely fashionable. I see her as being reserved with her clothing choices, but being comfortable wearing color and short sleeves. She also has a red cloak like Scarlett's, that she wears when hunting, along with a belt for her knives.

I see her as the grown up, not-snotty, sexy, armed-and-deadly, version of Dawn, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

So, what do you think?
If you've read the book, what clothes would you pick for Scarlett and Rosie?
